MOTORISTS in Glasgow are being warned of delays on a busy motorway after a crash this afternoon.
Police Scotland confirmed officers were in attendance at a one-vehicle crash near St James Interchange, a point of access to Glasgow Airport from the M8, around 2.25pm.
All passengers appear to be uninjured.
An eyewitness told the Glasgow Times of traffic being “tailed back” on the motorway.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers were called to a report of a one vehicle crash on the A726 at the St James Interchange around 2.25pm on Sunday 27 February 2022.
“There don’t appear to be any injuries.”
Traffic Scotland is warning motorists of delays in that stretch of the M8.
It wrote: “The A737 westbound after the M8 Junction 28 is currently restricted due to a road traffic incident.
“Road users should approach with caution and expect delays.”
The road has now been cleared and all lanes are open.
