Archana Puran Singh of The Kapil Sharma Show recently became a victim of another cruel joke from comedian Kapil Sharma in the presence of Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurrana. Little did she realise that Delhi’s Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia would amplify that joke by sharing the clip of that video.
Kapil was in conversation with Ayusmann when he decided to have a go at Archana in his inimitable style. The famous comedian said, “You know what Archana ji was saying before you came here? She was saying that Ayushmann played the girl’s character so that he can get a free bus ticket. She comes in the bus every day.”
Ayushmaan asked, “But that (free bus for women) is in Delhi. Is that available even here (in Mumbai) as well?”
Kapil replied, “Well, she goes to Delhi to take advantage of the free bus service.” As expected this left everyone including Archana in splits.
Sharing the video, Sisodia’s Aam Aadmi Party tweeted, ” We are being discussed here.. Discussion on FREE Bus ride scheme for Women by Kejriwal in #TheKapilSharmaShow.” The AAP’s tweet was shared by Sisodia.

This prompted fans to debate whether the Delhi government was right to take the credit for the free bus service as some claimed that the same was also available for women under the Congress government in Punjab. One fan used Kapil’s video wishing Sonu Sood’s sister Malvika Sood a victory in the assembly polls.
Malvika is contesting as a Congress candidate from Moga.
